Beth Barnickel is a senior technology, quality, and engineering executive with more than 25 years of experience spanning software development, systems and electrical engineering, IT, cybersecurity, and quality management. Her career reflects deep expertise in delivering, governing, and improving complex systems across commercial, DoD, federal, state and local government, and international environments.

Beth began her career as a software developer with Computer Sciences and later joined Oracle, where she served as Quality Director. At Oracle, she led high-impact initiatives including Apache Medical Systems, a predictive analytics platform for ICU patient stays, and large-scale membership systems supporting organizations such as IEEE, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, and the NRA. Earlier, she worked as a consultant with Cordant, contributing as an engineer and tester on the U.S. Postal Service Kiosk program deployed during the 1996 Olympic Games.

Beth went on to hold senior leadership roles at Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and L3 Communications, including Vice President of Engineering and Quality at L3. Her work supported mission-critical military and homeland security systems, including first-alert alarm field systems deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan, airfield security systems at Robins Air Force Base, and border security tower systems.

In addition to industry leadership, Beth served on MIT’s advisory board for the Lean Aerospace Initiative and founded GEB Quality Management Systems. She currently serves as Quality Director at OBXtek, Inc., leading CMMI and CMMC appraisal readiness, ISO 9001, ISO 20000, and ISO 27001 audits, and enterprise process improvement initiatives, integrating Microsoft 365 and emerging AI-enabled capabilities to strengthen governance and performance.
