EVP & Senior Advisor to the President

Planned Parenthood Federation of America

Kim Custer serves as the executive vice president and senior advisor to the President at Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA). She leads efforts to strengthen Planned Parenthood affiliates — independent non-profits dedicated to expanding access to sexual and reproductive health care and education nationwide. Her leadership steers critical areas including accreditation, strategic investments, membership engagement and communications,  governance, global operations, data analytics, research, and evaluation, ensuring measurable impact across the federation.

Joining PPFA in 2015, Kim previously held the roles at PPFA including executive vice president and chief federation engagement and impact officer and ex of executive vice president for health care, leveraging her expertise as a former president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Keystone and as a leader at Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties. Her corporate experience includes strategic roles at Federated Department Stores and The Limited. Kim earned a BS in political science from the University of Oregon.
