Lavinia Lowe brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Director of CMC Quality Assurance at Ultragenyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc., with over 25 years of experience in the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical industry, including 20 years specializing in Quality Assurance. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Science from Harvard University.

Throughout her career, Lavinia has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication to excellence. Notably, she was recognized with the prestigious Platinum VOCAP Award by Vertex Pharmaceuticals in 2018, an honor reserved for the top 1% of employees. This accolade highlighted her outstanding contributions as the Product Quality Lead for the Cystic Fibrosis portfolio, where her work had a significant and measurable impact on advancing the company’s corporate vision.
