Marketing Manager, Ultrasound

SuperSonic Imagine, Inc.

The journey from the start of my career to now has been abundant and fulfilling. I attended Quinnipiac University and studied in their Diagnostic Imaging program, graduating with a bachelor's degree and license in both radiography and sonography. I began my career in radiology as a x-ray technologist at Yale New Haven Hospital and quickly moved into ultrasound. While working in the ultrasound department, I was afforded the opportunity to work in the Smilow Breast Center. There, I cross-trained and became board certified in mammography. During my time at Smilow as a mammography and ultrasound technologist, I also cross-trained the mammo techs to be proficient in breast ultrasound and go on to achieve an ARRT certification in breast ultrasound.

After hours, I worked as an adjunct faculty professor in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program at Quinnipiac University where I taught the hands-on laboratory sessions. Before leaving the clinical setting and joining the corporate world, I was the coordinator & supervisor at the Saint Francis Hospital Breast Center. Upon entering corporate medical marketing, I worked for Hologic as a Marketing and Clinical Insights manager in the ultrasound space. Currently, I work for SuperSonic Imagine as their Ultrasound Marketing Manager for the USA.

In addition to these roles and responsibilities, I am also a wife & mom of two. Juggling it all and finding the balance to show my family that I can do both is not a small undertaking but I treasure the opportunity to try and show my kids that you can do anything you put your mind to. I am so honored and excited to be a part of this program and sit on the UNH Women in Leadership Advisory Board for a second year. I am thankful for all of the insight and education, networking and connections made, and most importantly - the ability to be a better leader and mentor to others on a similar path!
