Senior Vice President

Marmon Inc.

Rina Patel held the most recent role of the Senior Vice President of Global Operations & Supply Chain at Broan-NuTone. She was promoted almost yearly at Marmon Industrial Energy & Infrastructure, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, starting as an Executive Director of Operations leading to the Vice President of North American Operations. She has been responsible for the full operations portfolio starting from raw materials to finished goods for multiple facilities and organizations.

Rina is an experienced executive with a breadth of knowledge derived from her diverse manufacturing industry experience encompassing a wide range of processes and products. She has worked for companies such as Stanley Black & Decker, Dyno Nobel, General Electric, and BASF where she advanced her career through various engineering, continuous improvement, and operational roles at a site level as well as at a global level.

Rina’s achievements include cultural transformation of organizations that led to sustainable growth driven by organizational agility. Her leadership, both in the local US & Global markets, contributed significant growth to the organization’s top-line as well as bottom line. Rina has earned several awards and personal recognition throughout her career, including Outstanding Leadership, and High Potential Leader. Under Rina’s leadership, sites were honoured with Zero Harm Safety award, and Manufacturing Excellence award.

Rina joined CBIA as a board member in 2015 and was elected to serve on the Executive Committee, Compensation Committee, the position of Vice Chair, to become a chair as the 1st person of color in 207 years of history, in 2022. She has served in the capacity of a panellist at several events such as ‘When Women Lead’, Women In Construction, and CT Manufacturing Summit.

The topics discussed in these panels included mentoring/coaching, the 4th industrial revolution, and the health of CT Manufacturing. She earned recognition as a disruptor and the 1st in the organization to leverage Industry 4.0 initiative for manufacturing, leadership that earned public accolades through a notable Danbury newspaper article. Rina was featured in a podcast, by Made In America, recognizing her contributions to the Industry and CBIA.

Rina earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology with continued education at Columbia University and Johns Hopkins University. Rina is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Rina was awarded a certificate for completing “Delivering Business Growth” coursework and became an “Executive Scholar” as part of executive education from the Kellogg School of Management.
