Director of Health

South Central Health District CT

Susan Lonczak is an accomplished leader in the field of  Public Health. For the last 10 years, she has excelled in leadership roles. She's currently the appointed Director of Health for a local health district which serves the public health needs of over 65,000 Connecticut residents.  

As the leader of a regional government organization, her mission remains focused on serving ethically and putting the needs of others first. She has a strong commitment to continued education, mentoring others, and helping build a stronger women-led workforce across multiple fields. 

In her spare time, she's a devoted mom of two boys aged 7 and 10, an avid gardener, and a classically trained chef graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in 2006.
